Flowering all year round

Thanks to the huge potential for beekeeping, with several blossoms at different times of the year and perfect adaptation of Africanized bees, the Northeast will soon be the largest Brazilian producer of honey and other bee products.

High productivity

The migratory beekeeping, a characteristic of the Northeast, reaches productivity of around 100 kg/beehive/year, twice as much as fixed beekeeping, with productivity of 40 to 50 Kg/beehive/year.

Organic honey without the use of agro-toxins

The Northeast is one of the regions on the planet with the best conditions for producing organic honey. Originated from wild plants, honey is produced practically without the use of agro-toxins. This differential has been attracting entrepreneurs who set up enterprises in the Northeast to develop this activity and constitutes a competitive advantage in exports, in view of the need/demand for natural products in the external market.
